Psychodynamic Counselling

I work by listening closely and by providing the time, space and support for thoughts, feelings and problems to be explored and better understood.
I work flexibly, responding to each individual and sometimes find that it can be helpful to use art and imagery as a way into thoughts and feelings. Paying attention to the body can also be another way of learning about what is going on within.

Counselling can help us to better understand and to deal with a wide range of difficulties including anger, anxiety, bereavement, eating disorders, depression, divorce and separation, family issues, guilt, loneliness, injury, loss and grief, low self esteem, relationship issues, stress and work related issues.
We will spend time reflecting on your life today and in the past in a supportive, non-judgemental way, building a relationship and working together towards your greater self-acceptance and understanding.
